The remaining contestants are better about getting their picks in, but the Thursday deadline still claimed over 100 victims out of 718 Week 2 survivors.

Dead due to not making a pick: 117

Leaving 601 who actually picked this week. The Dolphins were by far the most popular choice this week as the pick of the majority of survivors, and barely avoided throwing this week into chaos. The next 2 most popular choices also survived, but the next 3 did not, and took a sizable chunk of contestants with them.

Alive: 418

Dolphins (vs. CLE): 229
Cowboys (vs. CHI): 68
Packers (vs. DET): 60
Seahawks (vs. SF): 33
Ravens (at JAX): 8
Chiefs (vs. NYJ): 5
Colts (vs. SD): 5
Raiders (at TEN): 5
Patriots (vs. HOU): 3
Bills (vs. ARI): 1
Broncos (at CIN): 1

Dead: 183

Cardinals (at BUF): 50
Panthers (vs. MIN): 42
Buccaneers (vs. LA): 36
Giants (vs. WAS): 18
Steelers (at PHI): 16
Saints (vs. ATL): 15
Texans (vs. NE): 2
Bengals (vs. DEN): 1
Chargers (at IND): 1
Lions (at GB): 1
Titans (vs. OAK): 1

I have to admit, I came close to joining them. Figured they'd put it all together at home against the Falcons. Good thing I decided to hold off on taking them, and went with Miami instead.

I try to never pick division games until the 2nd time the teams play anyway.

Cody Parkey should have put a massive dent in this competition.

Mother fricking Bucs. There is no reason to take an NFC South team the rest of the season.

Why not just pick against the Bears every week? That was my plan, but I forgot to make my pick.

I wouldn't bet on Winston against a defense worth a damn.
