Not one mention of the team I'm picking. Now I'm worried.

Damn these are pretty tough. I'm going with dolphins over Washington since RG3's picture is on the game ticket.

I'm taking Arizona. It makes no sense, and their O-Line is horrendous, but they are at home. I should note that I've never made it past week 3 in Survivor.

More of an ATS Pick'em kind of guy.

Largest spreads, all around -5, are Broncos, Cowboys, and the Pack

That's because people like to get cute...if you are going to pick a road team Week 1 it should be GB.

Im going with Green Bay. Chicago was horrible last year, and I dont see any major moves during the offseason to lead me to think they will be much improved

Don't think I want to burn GB so early

I'm willing to burn them early. The volatility of week 1 is scary. You just don't know what to expect from some teams. Especially in all these road games. Think I will take Green Bay and sleep like a baby.

True. Cant worry about who you burn at the beginning of a season. Teams can change so much from year to year. You have to go with the best options early in the season and then you can look at saving certain teams as you learn more about them

Here's the Yahoo pick distribution for Week 1. I like to check this page because that is a huge pool of people.

Green Bay and Carolina are 43% of the picks. Next tier is Miami, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, and Seattle.

Not that it matters, but Indy has looked like dogshit in the preseason and the Bills have looked like world beaters.

Not to mention that Bills roster is freaking loaded.

Except at the most important position on the team.
