NFL considering abolishing extra points

"There's one proposal in particular that I've heard about. It's automatic that you get seven points when you score a touchdown, but you could potentially go for an eighth point, either by running or passing the ball, so if you fail, you go back to six."

I may be in the minority, but I actually like this.
I think it should still be part of the college game, though.

While we're at it, if the ball goes into the end zone on a punt or kickoff and the other team doesn't return it, let's give the kicking team a point.
And just for shits and giggles let's make the field 30 yards wider and 20 yards longer.
And let's then merge with the CFL.
Saskatchewan vs. Houston would be EPIC.

How about this? Instead of centering the PAT on the field, how about making teams kick it from one of the two hashmarks?
