For commercializing it to the magnitude that he has? Absofrickinglutely.

What would be the point of the pink be if they didnt talk about it or bring it up? You know, raising awareness and all that jazz

Couldn't they just require the networks to keep a pink transparent ribbon on-screen as a reminder instead of pink all over the field? I'm all for the titties, but all this pink, all the time, is a bit nauseating.

Even pee-wee kids do it now.

Ah, what people will do to be cool/fit in.

It's worse than that, imo. They sue people who uses the word "cure" in their event

Lots of the guys auction off the pink game-worn stuff and donate the proceeds to cancer charities.

Having seen this in my family in a bad way, I'm beyond cool with it. The only thing I find odd is that their biggest demo has every bit the problem with prostate cancer, but they're too busy shoving beer & pizza commercials down our throat to get around to that one.

How about we look for the cause? Also why isnt there a prostate cancer awareness month supported by the NFL.

Because the NFL already has the prostate cancer demo locked up. The like this month of pink to bring in the prostate cancer demo's wives and girlfriends.

They only do it to market to the female demographic and sell more gear.

Correct

And what is the point of raising awareness but to raise money? And do they think there's some schlub laying on his couch in week 4 of the pink onslaught that says to himself, "Ya know, I wasn't gonna donate any bucks the first three weeks of this PC campaign, but this fourth week of looking at hideous color combinations on my favorite team's uniforms has totally convinced me! Where's my checkbook?"

One week, move on.
