LINK

Wreaks a little bit of desperation for a ratings boost.

Should certainly be entertaining though.

It's all fun and games until someone blows an ACL playing dodgeball.

Out of all the all-star games in pro sports, this is the one I care about the least.

Dodgeball won't help matters.

If they bring in Gary Cole and Jason Bateman to do the commentary as those two, I'm in

Dodgeball is fun as shite. I don't think I'll watch them play...but I bet they have fun.

How much longer will the NFL let Goodell run it's product into the ground.

Exactly, just ask Robert Edwards how much fun he had playing flag football on the beach... he rushed for 1100 yards rookie season, went to pro bowl in HI.. blew his ACL and his NFL career was done

Wasn't it Robert Edwards that blew out his knee during a beach football game during pro bowl week or something?

For some reason, I remember it actually being a worse injury than a torn ACL. Not sure though

From Wiki:
quote:

Edwards was chosen by the New England Patriots in the first round of the 1998 NFL Draft. He rushed for 1,115 yards for the Patriots in the 1998 National Football League season, before blowing out his knee at an NFL rookie flag football game in Hawaii during Pro Bowl week. Edwards barely escaped the injury without having his leg amputated below the knee, and he was told he might not walk again.

He did end up playing again though, for the Dolphins.
