My thing is..

Drew is one of the GOATs to ever play QB. No doubt about it.

However, I think if he never went to NO...he woudnt be the 1st ballot HOF QB he is today.

The Saints caught A LOT of breaks that year they won the Super Bowl. But all Super Bowl teams catch breaks. The Saints earned it that year, but they earned it as a TEAM.

This isnt basketball. The Saints for one year had a vastly superior team than the ones Matt Ryan has played on for the most part. We'll see how he does this year.

Most of Brees playoff wins came from 1 year. 1 year where everything came together from offense, defense, special teams.

But just cause he's got 1 Super Bowl and Ryan has 1 playoff win (so far...lets be honest...Ryan in ATL is better than Brees in San Diego..)
doesnt mean he's 10X the QB that Ryan is.

So yes I felt like trolling after that.

you won't get an argument out of me on that one pal. It was pretty much the exact opposite happening every other year, the Saints found plenty of different ways to lose.

yeah, you know I think Ryan is a good QB and he is off to a better start. Drew Brees did have a nice rebounding period out there in SD though. He got off to a tough start but he had a nice 2004 season. He was doing pretty well in 2005 but of course everything changed in the last game of the year...
