Thinking about Lamkin crossline versus Winn dri tec.
I sweat profusely in the summer.

Any advice?

Not a fan of winn grips

I have cross lines and like them, and the fact that they aren't too expensive

My favorite is the golf pride z-cord but they are about 10-11 bucks each

As much as I like MCs, they aren't the best out there for extreme humidity and sweaty hands.

Granted, they are good in the heat, but not optimal.

Keep a towel with a dry end and wet end

Clean and dry your grips and hands before every shot

You won't believe how much better the grip feels when you do this

I've never had any problems with my MCs. Washing the grips with soap after a round adds some sticky feeling to your grips

Go to Wal Marks and get some tennis wrap. Seriously.

ETA:

I use the Wilson white wraps that come in a three pack. Think they're around $7 per pack. I'll replace them once or twice in a summer. Wedges get replaced much more frequently than the others.

I ordered dritec midsize with my Pings I just ordered on this past Friday.

Hope they play as well as they felt during my fitting session.

Yeah I really haven't either with my MCs - mostly just the 100% humidity days in the summer, but you can manage if you towel them off consistently. The soap suggestion is good too.

Overall, a cord grip is going to give you the best moisture management. MC's are cord hybrid, so you get solid performance in the dry aspect, but I would think an full cord grip like the Golf Pride Z Cord would be provide the best dry grip if you sweat a lot:

My advice is to forge yourself a set of man hands that are rougher and tougher than a $2 steak. Then slap some z cords on your clubs and feel the club become welded to your hand.

After that use your torque and horsepower to generate copious amounts of Nitro.

Then shoot 93 anyway

Or just rub one out in the sofa every night.

Agree about Winn being garbage.

This is what you want:

Just sell him your zcords you don't use anymore for 1/2 price

I agree with some of the other posters above, I tried a few MCs on my woods. They felt very slippery in the summer I used them. A ton of tour pros use them, so they are good grips. Just not my style.

I have always been a GP Tour Velvet type of person. They last forever, are cheap, and with soap and water they feel brand new.

I've heard the zcords were good but haven't hit any balls with them. I wouldn't recommend Winn to anyone for anything but for a putter grip.
