He recently just gave Mike Riley an extension. of course we all know riley just got beat down by Northern Illinois.

Kudos to Nebraska for getting rid of failure as their AD, and let's pray LSU follows their example down the road as it is long overdue!

That has to sting paying a team over $800k to come in and beat you down at home.

We'll make 'em a helluva good deal on ours. We can even throw in a head coach at no extra cost.

Nebraska is pretty much irrelevant in football, basketball and baseball.

Someone had to pay.

So Riley is in his 3rd year. (1-2 in his 3rd year). First year he went 6-7, last year went 9-4, loosing in the music City bowl.
Gets a raise....for what? This is some Joe Alleva crap right here.

Even being mentioned alongside Nebraska should raise eyebrows. Makes my blood boil.

Mr. Alleva, there is now an opening for AD at Nebraska, you wanted Tennesse before, Nebraska is calling.

I said earlier in the week that the team and administration of Nebraska could set the blueprint for LSU to watch and possilby emulate.

I had a chance to spend some time with JA a couple of years ago after being introduced thru a big donor. I remember thinking to myself "LSU may never be on top while he is here". Can't put my finger on it but there was something about him that made me think he couldn't care less about football. He did have his TAF guy follow the booster like a secret service agent for the entire game though.
