They are wearing the '97 throwbacks against Wisconsin. Thoughts?

Lose that stupid 1970s baseball undershirt and they look good.

They really aren't any different than the current uniform, no?

Not terrible. I like how they made the numbers "throwback" as well.

What's different aside from the holes that won't be visible on TV?

One has to wonder if Nebraska will ever return to its 90's prominence. Thinking that ship has sailed. Their last dominant team in my opinion was 2001 team that Miami drilled.

I like them.

I think most grew up in an era where jerseys were mesh. It's a fun idea

They look awful though. Shouldn't have done them at all. Put the stripe at the bottom of the jersey sleeve like the jersey they are trying to do a throwback for.

This, those suck. I wouldn't expect less from Adidas

The 2001 team was dominant? The same team that gave up 99 points in their last two games? Their last great team was the '99 squad that kicked our arse in the Fiesta Bowl.

Once they lost the ability to live off partial qualifiers and their completely bogus "walk on" system they were never going to be as good. It's why Osborne retired when he did. He saw the writing on the wall.

This would be like Penn State doing a throwback. Their uniforms havent changed for 100 years.

They have the fanbase, resources, and facilities for it. All they need is the right coach. Start cheatin a lil bit and it could easily happen.

They are still a top 20 program, it's not like they've fallen off a cliff.

Patch is very different. There is also no white stripe on the sleeve. Fail.

Except Penn State's has

They've tinkered with striping on sleeves and Yokes. They also used to have numbers on helmets.
