Boston is rumored to be in on Okafor also

I think you'll be rid of him by tomorrow

That's what Aldridge reported the other night. Kind of surprised there have been so many teams interested but I can see them thinking they can build his value back up.

I may be in the minority here but I think the Celtics need to go big here. I'm not sure what it'd take but if they were somehow able to cash their chips in and bring in Okafor + PG13 they'd be pretty salty for years to come.

IT
Smart/Bradley
PG13
Horford
Okafor

That's a damn good lineup. Obviously they'd need some time to gel together but I'm pretty confident in Stevens' ability to get that team rolling. They'd be right there with CLE in the East

I was surprised that a guy his size isn't even averaging 5 RPG

With Okafor, idk what I'm getting on the defensive end. He's very skilled in the Offensive Low Post but he's not a Rim Protector, but I'll give him Average Post D. With Butler, at least I know I'm getting Above Average scoring and Elite Perimeter Defense.

I also think with Butler, they'll have the best chance of upsetting Cleveland. Idk if I can say the same if they acquire Okafor

Maybe I'm too high on Jimmy idk. I just think Boston has enough Frontcpurt to beat Cleveland, they need Backcourt scoring to help IT4

Butler is a top 10 player on a good contract.

Really shows you how incompetent that front office is.

People forget, Butler is still on that old max for at least the next 2 years. Like I said earlier, if I'm Ainge, I have to pull the trigger. Plus they still have another Brooklyn pick next year

It might be their best chance, but no one in the east is going to challenge Cleveland unless they get biased officiating like Toronto did when they let Byiombo play super aggressive.

this is the craziest part...brooklyn gave up pretty much relevance for a decade for like 1 good year.

Even that's debatable, they had a better record the year before the Boston trade

We've been laughing at Sacramento, but Brooklyn holds the title for worst trade in NBA history

Primarily due to the terrible start to the season they had. It still weirds me out how they managed to go 4-0 against the Heat that year.

Yes the brooklyn trade was sooooo bad. Basically ruined the franchise for 6+ years minimum, but at least they made it to the playoffs and won a series. Kings won't do shite as a result of this trade.

They won't get an FA's, they have nothing to trade, and the picks they acquired will almost certainly not produce anyone even 25% as good as Cousins.

It is historically awful. One of the worst trades in any sport's history.

Saw Woj said Pistons are listening to offers on KCP. Teams also calling the 76ers on Noel.

OKC will make a big surprise move (at least I hope so).

I imagine Wilson Chandler is their big target, but they can't trade draft picks this year.

I wish Denver would take Singler, but we know that will never happen. Might take Morrow/Roberson or Payne/Roberson or Morrow/Payne

On the NBA Trade Machine I worked a great deal for the Spurs

Lowry to the Spurs
Parker to the Nets
Lin and Hollis Jefferson to the Raptors

Ok back to reality.....

Carmelo is going to stay? What is the Butler status?

Don't think Melo is moving, Butler is 50/50 imo
