I'm not saying Griffin is a bad basketball player, just that I think there are 15 better than him.
Conley over Griffin
no disrespect to Conley but Jesus this board goes full retard with their anti-Clippers obsession

Yeah conley's the only one I'm on the fence about. I'll admit that one is reaching. So there are 14 I would take over him.
Eta: which I don't see what is so outlandish about saying that I would take 14 NBA all stars over Griffin. Never did I say Griffin sucks, just that I would take those over him.

I should have just done it based on right now instead of their whole careers. I'd take Gasol over Noah right now in a heartbeat, but I think Noah has had a slightly better career so far.

Well if it makes you feel better you weren't the only one. The guy after you said he'd take Pau over Blake right now.

Oh that is fine. Noah has just been a mess this season and Gasol has had the best season of his career.

And I'll even swallow my pride and admit that I haven't watched much of Griffin this season and his offensive game has improved tremendously. He's actually developed a nice shot.

Noah was so good last season with Rose out, but he may be done. He looks terrible. Sucks for the Grizz Conley's out, but I think the bigger issue was that Jeff Green trade. Guy's been a disaster.

He was great when we first added him because all he did was drive to the rim or cut off of Zbo/Marc.
He has just settling too much in the playoffs. I'd be a happy man if I never saw him shoot a pull up jumper again
I'm gonna give him a slight pass because he's been dealing with back problems for about a month now

His jump shot is so much better. I still want him taking that instead of driving, but he still makes it a lot. Playoff Blake is also better now because he's learned to pace himself in the regular season and isn't trying to dunk over everybody and fly all around the court.
I'm actually most impressed by Blake's ability to dribble the ball up the court and pass as well. Elite for a guy his size.

I can't fathom how anyone can even seriously consider Dwight Howard a better player right now. Or Duncan after Blake just owned him. Got to be trolling.

PG ahead of Wall is the only big thing

I don't think Howard is significantly better than Griffin, but I would still take Howard over Griffin in a draft.
Blake didn't just "own" Howard tonight, Howard had 22 and 10. Blake had a good game...doesn't mean he owned Howard, good players have good games.
Duncan is the best PF to ever play and played like he was young in the series against the clips. Regular season Duncan and Playoff Duncan are not the same. Again Griffin didn't "own" Duncan in that series.

Blake Griffin at the moment, is probably the playoff MVP.
(Value Added, on ESPN.com hollinger posteseason stats, show Blake leading the playoff participants with a 79, with Harden trailing by 20 and also Estimated Wins Added at 2.6 leading over Harden/Paul/Butler at 1.9)
VA: Value Added - the estimated number of points a player adds to a team’s season total above what a 'replacement player' (for instance, the 12th man on the roster) would produce. Value Added = ([Minutes * (PER - PRL)] / 67). PRL (Position Replacement Level) = 11.5 for power forwards, 11.0 for point guards, 10.6 for centers, 10.5 for shooting guards and small forwards
EWA: Estimated Wins Added - Value Added divided by 30, giving the estimated number of wins a player adds to a team’s season total above what a 'replacement player' would produce.
