The rule regarding Timeouts in the 4th is actually kind of a big deal.

They should plaster the court with ads and just eliminate timeouts. Two quarter breaks and a 15 minute halftime should be enough.

The rule change addresses the single biggest problem in the NBA: tedious finales to close games when they should be at their most exciting. Great rule change. More playing, less standing around waiting for the commercial to end. Makes the game that much better.

Saw another change that the season is starting October 17? Damn that's early. Looks like this means they'll lessen the back to backs?

That's correct. They seem to be doing everything right this offseason. Now just limit players from traveling like 3 year olds and we have a much better game.
