of course the lottery is legit

the idea that its rigged makes a whole lot of sense until you actually think about it

Look at that ref who was betting on games and admitted refs were coached to keep important games close.

And you think he was the only one with insider info betting?

Please, go buy a bridge in Brooklyn.

Ok, if it were rigged (it isn't) how would they do this when they outsource a Third Party to conduct the actual Lottery? And also, wouldn't they want the Lakers to get the 1st pick? The only thing that happened tonight was LA moved up one spot. Boston has the best chance at 1 which they got. Teams move up and down the Top 3 every year

and have every single team in the entire league monitor the drawing, and then they air the drawing of the numbers for everyone to see on youtube after the lottery

Dude, you could put MBI in charge of the lottery and he would still claim that it was rigged.

I understand business very well.

EY makes 5 times the money the NBA does. If it leaked that they rig the NBA lottery, they go down like Arthur Andersen.

Add that on to every team having a rep to witness the process and your case starts disintegrating fast. But that's the last point I'll make because like I said, it's useless reasoning with a conspiracy theorists.

This isn't dumb, its telling the truth, outside the lottery this draft is kind of overrated. Or were you replying to me?

The blue hell?

A draft's quality is pretty much its lottery. It isn't like the guys who aren't lottery worthy aren't a significant step up from your usual non-lottery picks, either. Guys who would be marginal lottery guys in other years (8 to 14), are going to be available at 15 to 20. That makes for an *incredibly* deep draft.

You obviously don't follow the NBA. The lottery is the only good part of the draft in any year
