Pens are nasty fast, they had the Caps heads spinning. The last game was the fastest skating I have seen all playoffs. Rangers and Ottawa looked like high school skaters compared to them.

The only team left that can skate with them is Edmonton.

The Blues were 100% the better 5-5 team in game 1. Game 2 was probably a wash as both teams put spurts together of really good 5-5 play.

Game 3 the Predators ran them out of the building.

Nashville Predators- NHL Playoffs by cas4tquote:That's simply not true, Edmonton/Anaheim would still be favored over ther and whomever comes out of the East, Pittsburgh, will be great as well. Nashville, has had some amazingly lucky bounces, and some fortunate refereeing helping them a long the way. Now, in playoff hockey, lucky bounces are really the only way goals are scored, but regardless it won't last forever. Rinne is good, not great, and I still think the Blues end up taking this series when they wake up. all of this is bullshite

Well... bookmarked then?

Wait what? You don't sweep a #1 seed and go up 3-1 in the following round based on "luck".

Nashville is a MUCH better team than you give them credit for. Subban was out for 1/3 of the season. Lots of young talent. There were only 2.5 games separating them from being the #3 in the central - let's not pretend they don't belong where they are...

Nashville is awesome. The Blues have only won the possession battle in one game this entire postseason. The Preds have more shot attempts, shots on goals, and scoring chances at fives. They also just look better, passing the eye test.

But I have the Predators winning the Cup in my pool, so I was onboard before the playoffs started.

Everyone on the Blues looks like they were built from a lab, and they've played a physically punishing series. But the Preds have a better coach, and better top end talent, which is part of why Nashville is going to win this series.

St Louis can out thump Nashville pretty easily. But outside of Tarasenko, they can't match Nashville's skill. And thumping isn't going to bring St Louis back to win the series- not with how Nashville's defense and goaltending are playing.

I'm really hoping for an Edmonton-Nashville conference final. Both arenas will be rocking. Will be nice to get some fresh blood in the conference finals too. Both fan bases deserve it.

That being said, I hope the Oilers win. Nashville has had their number all season but I think the series comes down to depth.

No offense to Nashville, like at all. But several fan bases deserve it ONE MILLION times more than Nashville.

One guy who would really change how this series has gone, Fabbri. Not having him has made the BIGGEST difference.

Didn't you predict the Sharks-Oilers series winner to make the Cup Finals?

Least you still have a team.

Try being a hockey fan from Atlanta, and seeing your dog shite franchise get relocated to a truck stop in central Canada not once, but twice.

I still hate the Atlanta Spirit, Don Waddell, and the rest of them.

Yeah, but once I had money on the line, I changed my tune. Besides, my pool is a bunch of Caps fans, so I figured no one else would have the Predators for Forsberg reasons. It was a strategic pick.

good shite.

I think the Flames moved after one of their best seasons in Atlanta ever, too.

I wear the Atlanta throwbacks with pride when playing nhl 17.

and yes, I did bookmark this.

If Pekka is just "good", then what's that say about the Blues?

I'm sure you'd consider Neal's goal a lucky bounce then? What a sore loser. You've been shite this entire thread dude.

They did. But they also made the playoffs somewhat consistently.

I've been to 50% of the Thrashers' home playoff games in franchise history...And I've only been to one game.
