More testing likely and further updates ahead, but one source just texted this on Gronk's leg injury: "Doesn't appear to be serious."

Sources tell me pending MRI, Rob Gronkowski's injury is not as bad as it looked. #Patriots

Along with the videos of him walking to and from the lockerroom after the x-ray and other reports he's getting dressed by himself. PLEASE LET IT BE TRUE!

Good.

So now he can go deck Josh McDaniels in the face as hard as he can.

Too bad you've given up watching for the year.

My team was getting hosed on the road and it looked like Gronk was done for a pretty long time. If anyone deserves a mulligan for a mini-meltdown, I'm pretty sure I fall into that category. Plus this means Mercury Morris has a better chance of still being relevant.

Not letting my hopes get up

If there was ever an appropriate time for one of those "crazy fans mess with a coaches front yard or car" stories it's now with Mcdaniels.

He's flying home with the team.

Completely agree. The 12th time he dialed up a deep pass for a slow, unathletic redzone target, I died a little inside.

For like 2 quarters while only up a touchdown, we were essentially squatting on the ball. Running it twice and throwing 60 yard bombs because Osweiler wasn't a threat I guess.

Then when we get up by two scores and all of a sudden we want to start throwing the ball like frickin mad men and can't run out the clock and get out of that clusterfrick of a game with an easy win

Instead we lose the game and risk losing Gronk. frick you Josh McDaniels. frick you.

From Reddit guys who said they had hypertensions said it hurt like hell and Gronks reaction was normal for that. Also it takes about 2 weeks to feel normal again.

Watching it live I actually thought his reaction was weird for a torn ligament

we've seen a bunch of them over the years (way too many) and I don't recall many of them being in that much pain like that, it's usually more of an oh shite for a moment and then just nothing

CSB: I had a hyper extension my senior year playing FB and only missed a play. It wasn't a serious one, but it was scary as shite

This team, with Edelman, Amendola, and Gronk is better than any other AFC team by a decent margin. They just took the second/third best team, at home, to the brink after a devastating injury completely altered their offense (again). All of this without the top three pass catchers, the two best players on defense, and with Chris freaking Harper returning punts.

yeah, all kidding aside... I enjoy watching Gronk play.

hope he's alright.

the playoffs and football as a whole are better with him in there.

I think the Steelers with Bell can beat a healthy pats team.

Not with the steelers defense. Gronk feasts on them every time.

Bengals matchup much better but Dalton is still Dalton.

I'd trust Ben more in a shootout with the Pats than I would with Dalton.

Pats have a very good defense when healthy though. Not that they would shut them down or anything, but they would get stops

Steeler defense wouldn't be able to do the same

Trust me I know this.

We're the only defense in the NFL that makes Russell Wilson look like the GOAT.

Broncos are also heavily injured. Everyone is at this point in the year. Osweiler just made his second start ever.
