With the season getting underway today, I think we should take the time to discuss teams that, when you look at where they are in the preseason polls, make you go "really?"

I think it's a toss up between Arizona and Maryland and I'm leaning Maryland

this is gonna sound odd since they played in the final last year, but ill take duke and wisconsin as the most overrated. then unc because frick them. also, duke will probably still be good cause they are duke, but overrated is a relative term for me.

most underrated, ill take cincy

I don't get why they're ranked so high. They were an overrated over-achiever last year.

agreed. But because they did so well last year, they inevitably were just going to start the year really high

UNC

same team that was just an above average ACC team last year.

Top 15? ok. #1? No chance in hell

Same song, same dance. Will have a great regular season record, will be seeded high, wont get out of the first weekend of the tournament.

villanova was fricking good last year. they were like wichita state the previous year for me.

both awesome teams that lost early and ruined things for other awesome teams like them in the future.

Didn't Maryland return all the best players from last season?

The return pretty much the whole team from last year and brought in some studs

They return the whole team (minus JP Tokoto) but I would not call either of their incoming players studs.
