You have the catch non catch rule
Balk
Ball/strikes
Traveling
Jump Stop/Pivot foot
Carry/palming
I think it's the balk because they are never called the same.

catch/non-catch by far.
All started really getting shitty with that Green Bay-Seattle MNF fail mary call.

The Fail Mary people bitched at refs when they had right mechanics just wrong call. The Calvin Johnson catch in Chicago is when I had no idea what happened.
Completely forgot handball, good one sir.

Icing getting waved off in hockey

That's pretty clear cut now beat the defense to the dot and they wave it off. The old way was somewhat weird
Also touched by a defender, usually you can hear the deflection.

On the subject of hockey, I would say goalie interference.

No doubt catch/no catch.
The application of the rule appears to be purely situational

Traveling isn't misinterpreted, it's disregarded. Roughing the kicker is misinterpreted horribly. It's pretty clear that kicking leg is running and plant leg is roughing, but they judge based on severity of contact.

In my experience, intentional grounding is a rule that's largely called correctly by football officials, but fans everywhere think it ought to be called way more than it is.

Offsides in soccer...
I think it sucks that they allow defenders to run away from the goal to cause off-sides...may not be mis-intererpted but it is stupid...

How can this even be an option? 3 strikes you are out- a 1st grader knows that. 4 Balls is a walk. Anyone who plays baseball knows that.
