The fade is the answer for the "I don't know what to call" question as a play caller

Toss plays, especially at the NFL level.

I know it's not a play...

But it's the over-analysis of a very common play.

"The process of the catch"

Colorado guy caught the ball at the 10 yard line...took 3 big steps - dove for the goal line, crossed the goal line with ball in hand superman style...landed in the endzone and then lost the ball as his hand hit the ground.

And they had to spend 5 minutes reviewing to see "if it was a legal catch."

College football has gone NFL retard.

on offense running the counter away blitz. Any NCAA QBshould know to check out of it. It gives the guys free run to the ball.

On defense, running a DL game on short yardage trying to be cute. The DE needs to be benched because he should have awareness not to call for it.

Going for 2 point conversions in blowout games. I hate it.

Yeah let's put the the QB, who hasn't taken a snap under center all game, under center when you're close to the end zone.

Oregon just lost because of the fade.

They had a 1st and goal at the 7 yard line down by 3 with 45 seconds left and a timeout.

They ran a fade...one on one to the corner.

Picked off.

Once again confirmed, worst play in football.

I hate our playbcallung. Been running down their throat and Prukop the play before undertaken a streak terribly, so we do a PA fade. It could be 4th and 50 with q Seco d and all their defenders waiting in the end zone.. well2 do a PA.

And to throw a fade on the 7... I've been knight ingredients for MH for a while but I think i am getting off that bus.

Run the ball, throw a slant...hell, run a basic old school sprint right option. You either complete it or throw it away - regardless, it's a low hard throw to the corner flat and almost impossible to intercept.

I've never understood why coaches think it's a good idea to launch a pop-fly into the endzone.

This isn't 3-flies and you're Out.

Any running play where the guard pulls in a short yardage situation.

Honestly the only short yardage running plays should be fullback dive or toss/bootleg

It isn't peewee football. They should be able to handle a damn snap from under center.
