It's nice to see cool/positive stories about athletes sometimes.

LINK
quote:

His actions on this flight weren’t anything out of the ordinary for him, but what he didn’t know was that he had an audience. A 10-year-old boy was observing the star athlete’s every move.

The nice thing is that Sanu was caught making a lot of responsible choices.

Long story short, this lady's ten year old son was watching Sanu and the mom noticed that he was making good decisions that she thinks will influence her son to do the same.

Looks like this family's act of kindness has already rubbed off on one of our posters, who is now going out of his way to do right by the MSB.

Pay it forward!!!

Obnoxious letter. It reeks of white privilege.

Amazing how articles are written lauding athletes for simply acting like decent, normal people.

Agree that it is kinda weird, but less so IMO since it involves her ten year old kid. Assuming what was said is true, famous athletes have an effect on kids whether they want to or not. And it's a good thing that this situation likely had a positive affect on this particular kid.

And I'll add the note to the OP. Didn't realize the website was particularly "shitty." It was fine on my end when I saw the article.

He seems like a genuine good guy, which sucks because he will eternally be known as "The Guy Who Thought They'd Run Up The Score" last Superbowl.
