Unless they are great passers as well, which most aren't. Now that we've seen the mediocrity of Cam, RGIII, and Manziel, is this a reasonable conclusion to make?

Running, no.

Mobile, yes. Luck isn't a run first guy but he's mobile and I would say he's pretty successful. Wilson too.

Cam is doing alright, RGIII is injury prone, and Manziel was a waste of a pick for a publicity stunt.

Randall Cunningham had some success, so did Vick, but not a lot.

More system QB's than anything. All three you mentioned ran the one read and improvise offense in college.

Russell Wilson (842 rush yards) is pretty successful and I'd argue he's not a great passer. Decent and accurate. Not great.

Are you asking if it's reasonable to state QBs who aren't good at passing aren't successful?

Yes, I would agree with that astute assessment.

Cam Newton making 2 Pro Bowls is mediocrity? In 4 years?

Doesn't get much better than that.

Cam Newton and Russell Wilson have both been voted into 2 pro bowls

How is that not the definition of success? Being among the top of your peer group.

Plus Wilson just won the Superbowl last year and will have another chance to win again
