Going by WAR from last year:
Posey 6.1
Vogt 3.5
Martin 3.3
Cervelli 3.1
McCann 2.7

Who do you have as the best catcher next year? Why?

Posey is a popular pick but Lucroy is back healthy, Molina is back, Perez expects to jump to the next level, and d'Arnaud is a popular pick.

Yasmani grandal is the best framer and was, offensively, the best catcher in baseball until his injury. He has an argument

Will he be at C or will Montero... seems Montero will get most of the time at C and Schwarber elsewhere as a utility type player

Posey is double all these guys in WAR.

This shouldn't even be a discussion

WAR misses most a catcher's value as a receiver.

Posey and the offense he brings to a lineup at that position is incredible. He is a beast. I wish he was on the Astros

Yadi Molina.

Literally was nailed to a cross and rose again 2 days later, besting Christ himself. At least that's what a Card fan told me. And I'm fairly certain he believed it to be true.
