Doesn't make sense... He was a favorite for the heisman... If I were him I'd think about my future more than being around family, friends and all of that... I know you said he won't transfer, but he'd have to be very ignorant to stay...

Hypothetically speaking, if he went to Bama and threw for 3000 yds and rushed for 1,000 you don't think that would increase his stock? Anything would increase it more than sitting the bench..

Bateman didn't play a down at WR in the Spring game and Blake Sims seemed to have done alright in his single season at QB.

Look at the Bama page here, yall bitch about quarterback development constantly. Alabamas recent success over lsu (which is obviously undeniable) has not been predicated on superb qb play.
Also I'm certainly not denying the clusterfrixk that is lsu's qb situation
