Even with the bad start, they've had a brutal schedule

I initially thought this as well, but I think they might want to go a different direction. They already tried hiring Mike Leach's offensive coordinator Sonny Dykes to run the offense for a few years there and they still could never get over the hump. I'd think they would want to go after a defensive guy, or maybe take their chances with a young coordinator. No good established head coaches will leave to go to Arizona.
