I don't know why he didn't get canned last year. The guy seems to have the personality of a doorknob and clearly the on field performance was not up to par.

They are making Philbin the scapegoat when in reality it should be the QB.
The reason they fired Philbin is because they have less invested in him than they do Tannehill. They don't want to admit they were wrong signing Tannehill to the extension.

Last year, MIA and OAK played in London and the OAK coach was fired after game. This year, MIA and NYJ played and Philbin is canned.
