With a little more mobility, Mettenberger could be a huge weapon

Hope he gets traded to a team that appreciates him. Not one that drafts a sure bust instead of giving him help.

I personally think Tennessee got a steal drafting Mett late in the draft. All they had to do were help that offensive line and maybe draft a good wr.

Except for the fact that Mariota is already #1 on the depth chart, they already said he would be the day 1 starter, and have been splurging about him since OTAs started.

Not a Mariota fan bro. But the Titans staff already said he's starting and have been raving about him the last few days. Therefore, Mett won't be starting week 1 like the OP said.

word in Nashville is that Mariota has been absolutely killing it.
The coaches and players have been very vocal about how good he's looked. "Deadly accurate" is the phrase used by more than one Titan.
Mett has looked solid passing the ball as always, but Mariota has been better than expected. Despite what people were spreading, Mett started OTAs with the 1's and they made Mariota start with the 2's. He has looked better with the 2's than Mett with the 1's.
I am a Mett homer, so this is hard to post
