Canelo Alvarez vs Austin Trout (other world champion who just beat Cotto) off of the May PPV undercard that is being headlined by Floyd's next fight. Canelo said the only way he would fight on Floyd's undercard is if Floyd signed a guarantee that, should both win, they would fight each other in September. Although Floyd said he would fight Canelo, he wouldnt sign a guarantee to backup his word. So Canelo pulled out of fighting on that card and he vs Trout will now headline their own card on April 20th in San Antonio.

Those who argue against Mayweathers career accomplishments always say its because Mayweather has repeatedly not fought the best in his divisions and, instead, took easier fights that would still generate a ton of money. Will this end up being another Floyd/Manny Paq dodge fest?

What say the Mayweather supporters & haters?

Champions should be REQUIRED to fight the consensus number one contender in their weight class at least every few fights or the governing bodies whose titles they hold should fricking strip them. Otherwise Mayweather will continue to beat the shite out of nobodies for 50 or 60 million a fight and boxing will continue to get less and less popular.

That's what Mayweather's doing vs. Guerrero, FYI.
