Seriously, anyone who buys that fight is crazy. The matchup is unacceptable for a fighter of his caliber but they could have justified it by putting it on CBS like they were talking about a few weeks ago. But PPV? That's just a big F U to the fans and a clear money grab.
Andre Berto got stopped by Jesus Soto Karass in '13 and had to get bailed out against Josesito Lopez earlier this year. And this guy is fighting the P4P #1? Come on.

He got his arse handed to him by Josesito Lopez (who is also shot) in his last fight and then the ref suddenly stopped the fight the first time Berto had any success. Lopez wasn't even that hurt. Al Haymon had that all fixed up.
Berto is trash and has been that way the last three years. shite, he was never even that good but Al Haymon kept using his leverage and put Berto on HBO numerous times to fight a bunch of nobodies and got millions for it. That's one of the main reasons HBO told Haymon to get the F-CK out of town and he ran to Showtime.
