He got those stats by trying to dig us out of the hole he put us in. No you can't turn it over twice on road in playoffs

He put us in position to win with a Td drive that would have sealed the game if Greg Williams doesn't call a blitz on 3rd and 12 with 1 minute left. You're just arguing to argue because you're pissed about how poorly the Saints have been playing lately. I get it, trust me I know it's frustrating.

San Fran?

Bree's played real well in that '11 game FWIW.

Greg Robinson and Harper are responsible for that bullshite

We have different definitions of "playing well." He put up 32 points on San Fran on the road.

Plus we lost a early TD when Pierre got knocked out cold on the one.

Brees did not cost us that game

Not going to argue your points which are valid, but can't ignore the two ints, look at the winning percentages when you turn the ball over on the road especially in playoffs. Yes it's amazing we still had a chance to win that game

Anyways who dat and Matty ice played fairly well which I was surprised

No one is ignoring the INTs. You can make mistakes and still play well.

I'd rather not even talk about that game.

Cost us a 2nd SB IMO

Because our Qb threw for 400+ yards and 4 td's. Just saying. Yes the int's were costly but he still played well enough to put us in position to win the game.

I can agree with that

How many times have you seen qbs win by just not making mistakes. Happens a lot in the playoffs.

Plenty of times. What's your point?

My point is.
0 turnovers>400 yards in the playoffs on the road

See Peyton Manning

Usually one or two turnovers in playoffs prove way to costly

That has nothing to do with whether or not Brees played well.

But what if the qb has 100 yards 0 td's and no picks and his team loses by 20 points? It's not as black and white as you're making it out to be

If your qb has two turnovers of course it does, those two ints can definitely over shadow 450 yards

Always comes down to ball control

That's why TD to Int ratio is so huge when looking at a qbs career

You're a lost cause. If you think that Brees didn't "play well" in that game, there's nothing left to argue about really.

Melvin of course I'm not that dumb, if you as Brees about any performance he would tell you he can't give them the ball period

I thought he played great to get us back in the game, but you cant ignore the ints, which can be prevented and Brees would tell you cannot happen.
