Mark Sanchez will return as the starting quarterback for the New York Jets in Sunday's regular-season finale against the Buffalo Bills.

Jets coach Rex Ryan announced Thursday that Greg McElroy has a concussion, giving the embattled Sanchez the start against Buffalo.

Ryan also said Tim Tebow was "not happy' about once again being passed over for the start.

McElroy, who was sacked 11 times in Sunday's loss to the San Diego Chargers, complained of concussion symptoms while lifting weights. He also admitted to the team that he had been hiding the symptoms since Sunday.

Sanchez was benched after throwing three interceptions and losing a fumble in a 14-10 loss to the Tennessee Titans on December 17, a defeat that eliminated the Jets from playoff contention.

So when (not if) Rexy benches the Sanchize again, does he put in Tebow or a concussed McElroy?

I say McElroy.

I care so much about an irrelevant losing team's quarterback situation...

I think it would be funny if Sanchez got injured just enough to where Tebow had to come in, and he tells Rex to shove it.

Tebow is right, sorry

Sanchez has had his shot. WTF???

Only thing I can think of is that the coaches don't think the rest of the team would play for/with Tebow and that may be true

but put his arse in there and let the nation see the other 10/21 quit shite

Buffalo tore up buffalo in that game. I can't remember how many points we gave away but it was a sign of things to come

Smart move by Ryan if you think about it. Let's say he starts Tebow and he lights it up. Can you imagine the field day the NY media will have with Ryan second guessing his decision not to play Tebow earlier in the season.

Is this really a bad thing? I mean there could always be another Jets game with a comedy of errors with things like buttfumbles happening

so is that going to be his thing. Every time he does something he then comes out later and said he did it with an injury?

He deserves to be. Yes, this is a 6-9 team without much talent in certain positions, but no team should ever be the circus that the Jets have been- and that falls on the shoulders of the HC, IMO.
