Saturday can't come soon enough. Hopefully the fight dodging woman beater hits the canvas a few times.

I am pumped about the fight, but part of me thinks it's going to be a snooze fest due to MM's fighting style. But could possible not be due to Manny's style. I want and hope Manny wins, but I am afraid that MM will win in a decision.

We can't have one boxing thread without the "who cares about this fight" guy chiming in.

You guys sure do care a lot to say you don't care.

This is pretty much where I am. Good thing is, I'll be at Coushatta this weekend, so hopefully we get to watch it for free.

i am a little to young to remember the glory days of boxing but i think its something i could get into if we had elite athletes back in it, and hyped up fights like this one

I really like boxing a lot. I just think with Mayweather, Pac (or anyone else rather) will have to beat him so over the top that all Mayweather has to do is make it a boring fight and he stays the champ. I feel like Mayweathers last fight was closer than the scorecards said.

I use to get like this for heavyweight fights. Especially during the Tyson days. I was in elementary and Jr High during the Tyson run, and we had slumber parties as kids to watch the Tyson fights.

Use to really like watching Winky, P Wit, and especially Roy Jones. But overall, boxing has no big names you can get behind anymore. Money makes it hard to like him because of the gin way he acts. But alot of people like that gin behavior.

Mayweather destroyed him that 2nd fight. I think Maidaina won the first one though.

I agree somewhat, but Pacquiao is someone that keeps coming. Other boxers press Mayweather for a little while then give up. Pacquiao won't give up so he'll force the issue.

I actually think the most likely outcomes are Pacquiao decision or Mayweather knockout. Either Mayweather completely shells up or he catches Pacquiao while he's flailing.

Manny will make sure to finish off what Mosley couldn't do. He's still an animal and will not let Mayweather duck and dodge all fight.

I think if Manny keeps coming, he'll live by it or die by it. You have to make mayweather fight.. He's got such good defense that he can just counter punch you enough to win the decision. Either way, there will be second fight which will make them both more money.

There isn't another fighter out there that could prepare Floyd for the angles that Manny can throw power punches and he can do it with both hands. Jorge Paez Sr is the only one that comes close that I can think of.

Also, Manny is a lot like Frazier was. He'll take three punches just to land one but this could hurt him too because Floyd isn't devoid of punching power either.

Oscar and Madiana showed everyone how to beat Floyd and that's with relentless pressure. Oscar thought he had it in the bag and stopped punching. Madiana was never going to win a decision against Mayweather. The only way Manny stops punching is if he goes to sleep and he has just a big a name as Floyd so a decision isn't out of the question.

Either way, I'm pumped and can't wait.
