Alright.... Brief search revealed:

Just to clear it up, Ricky's ex-girlfriend who left him for Major in college became Major's wife. Same girl. She I believe is also latina or part latina.

AWESOME!!!

Yet another black eye for an athletic program that was already on the brink of utterly pathetic. Hell, who knows though, maybe this is enough to finally get DeLoss/Mack/Etc kicked out on their asses. It won't be but let a guy dream.

If Applewhite ends up being terminated as OC after the BOR meets:

1. Would that action really be sufficient to either stop Bev Kearney from going forward with her lawsuit, or convince a judge to dismiss it, as her claims of disparate treatment may no longer have merit?
2. Would Applewhite have a wrongful termination case of his own, seeing that back in 2009 he was already punished for the incident and would have a rational belief that the matter was settled?

No. She did her shite and when they found out she was fired. He did his shite and lost some money but eventually got promoted and everybody went on like it never happened.

He could file it but they'll argue that once the story became public he had to go for PR reasons.

I'm now told that the BOR was not informed of the Applewhite event & they are pissed - Deloss Dodds career at UT is most likely over, although this won't be decided at meeting tomorrow.

As a "Big 12 fan" this should make you extremely happy.

With Dodds' exit, the Big 12 Conference no longer has to kowtow to the whim of one school and can finally create a conference beneficial to all members...maybe even reversing the horrible decision known as the Longhorn Network.

Then again, I can't help but:
