If I was a Panthers fan, I'd be more upset with Kuechly's interview than Cam's. I'd want to see my players act like they just lost the damn Super Bowl. Luke looks like he just lost a preseason game and doesn't give a shite.

He sure as hell doesn't act like it. Cam's/Lombardi's quote can directly be applied to Kuechly. He looks like a loser.

Yea Luke Kuechly is such a loser. The Panthers should just let him go, it's not like the Defense he led were the best unit on the field. That winner who called his teammate a loser whether directly or not played bad enough to lose despite having a defense put up top 10 statistics in the super bowl.

That's a real man, right there.

Cam should study him.

But he won't, he's superman!

Lol cause one was going against one of the all time defenses with a receiving corps who couldn't catch a cold or get open. The other was going against the corpse of Peyton manning.

Belichick and Popovich give very similar press conferences to Cams after losses or even while losing (Popovich). Nobody gives a shite when they do it. Those guys hate to fricking lose.

Cam was wrong to walk off but there was nothing wrong wth the actual press conference.

another one who didn't know that quote came from vince lombardi, eh?

You mean the guy that the Super Bowl trophy is named after?

That Vince Lombardi?

IMO Vince Lombardi's descendants should be forced to apologize to all players of all competitive sports for their ancestor's impertinence!

Crazy that some people aren't as open to the public with feelings of defeat/disappointment, isn't it? Kuechly was all over the field that night just like he is every game laying it all out there. A nightmare for any ball carrier. His dedication is only being questioned by idiots.

Agreed. Pathetic to even include Cam in the same sentence as Kuechly.

Cam missed quite a few wide open shots down field. Drops vs bad throws would be a wash. They also showed a graphic that Cam was faster than all of Denver's front 7 by a wide margin, why didn't the MVP take the game over?

I don't think you understand the concept of nothing. Walking off was what is being criticized. I don't give a shite how he sounded or his mannerisms after the game, but you don't walk out.
Did you watch the mic'd version of the game? Cam quit on his team in the biggest game of his life. Harper, Olsen, and Kuechly were out there trying to rally the troops while Cam was treating his teammates the same way he treated the media. Cam quit on his team just like he quit on his interview, it happened, it's documented, quit trying to defend it. Dude is legit THE best athlete to ever play QB, but his attitude is reminiscent of Cutler when he loses and Manziel when he wins, no one cares for those guys either (must be cause theyre black huh?).

Night and day right there;this young man was raised right!

Future hall of famer.

Maybe Jimmy Fallen should have had two cutouts of Luke and Cam on his set.

GFY

All you ever do is defend black people. Simply because they are black.

Cam Newton acted like a baby-back bitch when his team lost the SB. But instead of acknowledging the obvious, you act like it's ridiculous that anybody is even talking about Newton.

You're the dummy, bitch.

There's something special about being able to face your adversity head on and answer the tough questions, it shows an entirely different degree of toughness. I refuse to make this about race. Yes, there are idiots who don't like Cam because of the color of his skin, but to lump everyone with harsh words for him into that group is prejudice at it's finest.

If humility is something you value, you probably don't like Cam. (Older Gen.)
If humility matters little to you, you probably like him. (Younger Gen.)
both mindsets are acceptable, and I'm sick of people debating about it like there's a right answer here.

I can say this, the people who write Cam's checks probably aren't happy with how he handled things. I'd be willing to bet Mr. Newton has apologized to Jerry Richardson walking out.

In regards to the OP, Luke Kuechly was just as pissed as Cam about losing the game, but resisted the temptation to be a baby about it. Cam has some maturing to do and I hope he bounces back from this better than ever.
