Louisiana Tech announces 5-year deal with Adidas

From what I understand, this deal is top 10 in the G5 for Adidas and #1 in CUSA. Tech will be able to spend $300k on gear, and receive $650k the first year, and $485k after, of free gear. This $300k mark is less than the $350k Tech was needing to spend on the old Nike contract, which then only provided $125,000(?) of free gear once Tech hit the $350k mark.
I was actually hoping for Under Armor, but the money Adidas offered more than makes up for it. I'm pleased to see our new administration grow our athletic branding.

You do realize that Adidas makes some of the most atrocious uniforms in college sports, right?

Only one year ago
I realize they put out some weird uniforms, but I doubt the university strays too far from standard. Hint: there is a reason we are wearing white helmets this year and not using our typical reds.
