Louisiana High School Baseball 2017

Since the entire state starts tonight, what are yalls expectations on who will win state championships this year? I think for 5A it's obvious that you would have to pick Barbe but could another 5A team upset Barbe in the non select group and win state? I think St. Amant has a shot if they can find some pitchers outside of Enlow. And also opinions on baseball being split now. Like or don't like?

Barbe returns everyone plus Goree. It's hard to pick against them. Only way I see them losing is in the semifinals or finals since they are only one game. I don't foresee a first round loss against an abysmal team, due to the split. I don't foresee anyone beating them in a series.
St. Amant would be the prime candidate to beat them should they play one of the last 2 games. Enlow gives them a shot to beat anyone.
West Monroe has 5 players with D1 offers in Pearson-LSU, Young-Tech, Biggs/Jones-ULL, and Bolden-14 football offers and they pretty much all want him to play baseball too. 2 of the other 3 position players are seniors. Deep pitching staff, but they don't have that guaranteed win like Enlow. We will know more about WM after this weekend. They start the season tonight against Sulphur. Then Barbe and Tioga tomorrow in a double header. Then Haughton to end the tournament Saturday.
Not a fan of the split in any sport.

Austin Booth started tonight and had a 1 hitter going into the last inning. He's committed to Hinds CC. Robert Scott Foust, Taylor Young, Bacon, Biggs, Bolden, Berry, Bennett, Phillips, and Dejean could all pitch in these 4 game tournaments.

Idk about Neville. WM was up on Ruston 11-1 after 2.5 in the jamboree Sunday and Ruston called it quits.
