If the Gators can't get a first round win this year, then they will officially go down as the least clutch 5A program in Louisiana.

Can someone fill me in on Byrd? I thought they were ineligible for the postseason. Haven't paid attention to high school football this year.

that got reversed... Byrd had a point when they said some schools had one athletic period longer than two of theirs

At least it won't be as bad as they late 90s/early 2000s. Going into the playoffs ranked #1 or #2 and getting knocked out in the first round.

We sent them home last year in the playoffs. He is a really good athlete for sure.

if any 2-8 team is deserving it's one that beat Brother Martin... i have no problems with all D1 teams in the playoffs bc they're all at least as good as 5A playoff teams. St. Aug's record is deflated bc of their district.

I remember St. Amant going 10-0 in '98 (I think?) and I believe they lost in the first round.
