Why is Byrd not in the public school bracket. The first round game for parkway might as well be a home game. It is a tough ten minute drive.

I don't think the lusher coach made the call

Says a lot, and I would never want to coach/play for a team that is controlled like that. Crap, it was a few years back where public schools, like Clark, would travel to ECA and get crushed. Lusher is better than those teams....they just lack the fortitude.

Did they just decide they didn't want to play anymore. Ha. I'm not blaming Curtis but this creates an advantage they don't need. D ont know why lusher bailed but if not a leget reason they should be punished

CHSNI has Brent Indest at the helm, same coach who brought Carencro to the Dome in 2011 and has won all over the state. They beat #1 in 2A Loreauville 51-8 last week.

In the previous 6 years my two boys have played, we've been shipped to Southern Arkansas (Farmerville), Curtis twice, Calvary twice and ECA. All on the road. The fricking Lusher program can cry me a river. They should be sanctioned in the severest way possible.

Should Crescent City, Ridgewood, and Ecole Classique all be sanctioned?

Yep. I'd bet money their principals voted for this BS split, make them sleep in the bed they made.

Sterlington got beat pretty easily by Winnfield the first time around. I'm pulling for them, but it takes time to implement their system.

Depends on there reason. Isn't something you would want to be an every year occurrence. Can't just do what you want without repurcussions. Lhsaa needs to grow a pair and find out what's going on.

I still look for West St. John to make run for the title in 1A. They lost in the final minute to Riverside two weeks after Riverside nearly beat Evangel. They also return a ton of talent from last years team that lost 36-35 to Haynseville in the semis.

No one knows what will happen, but Winnfield beat both of these teams fairly handily in district.

I know it won't be popular on this board but I'm all on board for the WINNFIELD TIGERS!

It'll take a few years for Many's WM style weight program to start paying off at Sterlington. Winnfield better win now.

We have nine tournaments for 210 teams, but they're split into five 32-team tournaments and four other tournaments averaging 12 teams apiece.

This format is an abortion.

lhsaa invited that when they let every team in... Grace king and Ben Franklin have skipped the playoffs for years (usually not by choice) and maybe lusher is more similar to those two... Football isn't the highest priority everywhere

I don't see the problem. If a school wants to skip the post season, why can't they?

No way Haynesville loses to Mangham. Parkway will get knocked out 2nd round.
