I realize Episcopal is 10-0 and that should merit a very high seed. But for anyone who follows the team or others in "Division III", do they have a chance at winning this whole thing or not really?

Calvary played a brutal schedule and are battle tested. They'd be my main worry.

Yes I thought there were 16 teams in this bracket. I do think this gives JC a huge advantage. Another reason for me to hate the split.

The most interesting game of the first rd is 6-5A champion Mandeville (8-2) vs 8-5A champion John Ehret (8-2). Should be a great game. Mandeville has come on strong and Ehret has an insanely good backfield with Williams and Williams.

Curtis gets a bye. wow

How do you justify a bye in a 16 team playoff? Let's see how many other advantages we can give them. Guess they are hoping no one gets hurt and they have to burn someone's redshirt.

Because one team baled on playoffs there are 15

Ehret won their district and 8 games and still has to go on the road... That should tell you something...

District is so weak we're gonna win it next year...

LHSAA - What a politically correct JOKE!

And how is Central, BR an 11 seed behind a team they beat 35-0(Zachary)

Notre Dame gets a 3 seed and had the weakest schedule of D2.

U-High and lil' Miles get a walk to the dome.

Must've played a weak schedule. Barbe beat WM and is the 8 seed while WM is 6. It's about the teams you play and how they do as well, not just head to head. It's science.

The Parkway principal had the Live Oak coach cuffed and taken off the field for not letting his own band on the field, even though his band director agreed to let them warm up. Apparently, the Parkway band is super special and they must have the entire halftime to play, and they didn't leave any time for the Live Oak band at halftime. So the queen of Parkway tried to make Live Oak's band play before the game.

Fun note - The Parkway principal is the subject of an online petition to the Bossier School Board between this incident, a case where a bullied student committed suicide, and several lawsuits including these two cases.

The head of the Bossier School Board hasn't helped matters by going to the online petition site, belittling the petitioners, and suggesting they take it up with Jindal instead.

Details are in a thread on the OT board.

Word on the street is Deuce is out of his boot and getting ready for a run into the Dome.

The bracket with Calvary Baptist has three of the best teams all in one bracket - Calvary, Newman and Catholic New Iberia.

And Lusher should be penalized by LHSAA for walking away from their playoff game....complete bullshite and the coach should have his card pulled.

I've heard a lot about Catholic NI's QB. Something crazy like 20+ TDs and 0 picks.

I think Ecole Classique, Ridgewood, and Crescent City all forfeited too or declined the opportunity to play.
