Less than 300 pairs of ZO2s sold

Over the weekend, rumors swirled that the Ball family had netted themselves a seven-figure payday, selling upwards of 5,000 pairs of Lonzo Ball’s new, signature Big Baller Brand shoe, the ZO2.
That probably isn’t true.
The sneakerheads over at NiceKicks.com did the legwork, tracking invoice numbers — staffers there not only bought a pair of ZO2s, but they also snagged a pair of BBB shorts — and inventory levels to determine that the real number of shoes sold in the first day that the ZO2s were on sale was probably less than 300.

I encourage all of y'all to watch 'Sole Man' on Netflix about Sonny Vacarro. If Lonzo has any success, BBB is going to be a successful brand.

chicken bought 3 pairs just off the revenue that these shoes brought to his website.

Those shoes probably cost $10/ea in bulk...............$150K in revenue isn't bad.

He'll get knocked down several pegs in the PC culture we live in as long as his big mouthed father is allowed to continue. He already caught a lot of flack for saying "If you can't afford them then you aren't a big baller" or whatever.

It's pretty bad when you turned down millions to create it.

I thought none of the companies wanted him because his dad is a dumb arse?

You can't tell me all the kids out on the West Coast are eating this stuff up. I don't see them going any away anytime soon. Especially since 'Melo is just a junior.
Edit-While his mouth will prolly be his downfall, Lavar isn't that crazy. He's staying relevant while trying to promote his brand and his sons.

I'd love to pile on but that's not bad for one day of sales, especially at such a high price. If LB has a hot start to the season and/or goes to a popular team like the Lakers, they will move units strictly from the novelty of it all.

I'm so ready for Lavar Ball to stop being a thing

50 Dollar tee's on his website too

Here is a more detailed COST BREAKDOWN. There are an additional $15.00 in overhead costs and $2.00 in taxes.
So a typical run of the mill, mass produced sneaker at Nike has $45.50 in total costs. So whatever the cost was for Ball, it was assuredly higher than that, probably much higher.

But he is making them to order. See the shipping date of November.
Thats why they are so expensive. His margin is the same as Nike's but his cost is 5X.

And when you factor in the insance amount of free publicity and press the launched generated. That's pathetic

Kinda on topic. Seen a guy in Lafayette with a "BBB" hat on. Was slightly impressed.
That is all.
That is all.

Can we just have a Lonzo board?

All the free press and advertising in the world doesn't mean shite if at the end of the day, nobody wants the product.
200 units moved means nobody wants the product.

Eh, likely higher due to ordering in bulk numbers and being established.
At 495 a pair though the price point eclipses most anything an everyday shoe company offers.
Additionally, ball doesn't scream craftsmanship to me, probably cheap as shite.

Do they have a customer service phone number? That could be a fun 30 minutes calling asking question.
"Hi, do you guys offer a military discount on your shoe purchase by chance? Thanks!"
