Almost every NBA legend ever, if you look back at when they were in their prime, you can say their team was a clearcut best team in the league

Russel
Magic/Kareem
Bird
Jordan
Shaq/Kobe

Lebron's team has simply never been the best.
Miami was second fiddle to the Spurs.
The Cavs are second fiddle to the Warriors.

I know the individual != the team, however at the end of the day basketball is a team sport and the goal is to win games and championships AS A TEAM. I don't see how you can stake claim to being the best ever when you can't even make your team the best ever, something every other NBA legend has managed to do.

It's him. He's the reason Lue is the coach there.

Why? So he could just bring in a coach he wants?

The Spurs won 1 title in his 4 years in Miami.

The Heat should have had 3 titles but Lebron shite the bed vs Dallas. They were clearly the best team in the league for 3 of his 4 years there.

He had Pat Riley in Miami. Is Riley considered not good nowadays and I missed it?

He played on a 66 win Heat team that won the title.

Back to back titles, won 66, and had the second longest winning streak in history.

Wouldn't that make it more impressive he has 3 rings?

The Spurs should have won two, but Ray Allen killed that

They still had a Game 7 where Bosh couldn't score a point, and they still couldn't win.

True, but it still doesn't take away from Allen's three being very important to the Heat winning.

Role players are not allowed to make key plays?

The fact that people still cling to the Ray Allen 3 as a detriment to Lebron is mystifying

Y'all realize that a superstar can't score 100% of his team's points, right?

Nevermind that Lebron scored 18 points in 4th quarter and OT in a comeback win in a Finals elimination game

So Magic and Bird, who both played at the same time but for different teams, each played for what was clearly the best team of that era?

Not completely. His first stint with the Cavs was a front office failure and likely influenced how he's dealt with his front office since that time.
