I'd say LeBron shouldn't have opened his mouth in the first place. I would've told him to frick off as well in their position.

Pierce's position wasn't but Garnett's absolutely was.
Garnett had to waive his no trade. If he doesn't waive it, the Celtics don't deal Pierce. Garnet absolutely chose to get off of a sinking ship to go to greener pastures.
Same thing Ray Allen did a year before.
