doesnt really matter. their skill and progression should be on the same pace imo

lol what you progress by playing against the same competition. One player drafted out of high school the other played college

You know what's even funnier? Kevin Durant chooses LeBron on NBA2k14.

Sounds like one player was good enough to skip college, and one player wasn't.

So you think it's fair to compare a 21/22 year old rookie Jordan out of UNC having been coached by Dean Smith to an 18/19 year old rookie LeBron straight out of high school?

There's no way that's a fair comparison.

Well MJ also needed to wait for his teammates to develop, not joining 2 other top 10 players in the league at the time to finally break through.

I am not trying to knock Lebron, but people get carried away when they start talking about age and finals appearances, not to mention the teams that stood in the way of Chicago (Celtics, Bad Boy Pistons) are some of the best ever while Miami has had a rather easy run to their titles in comparison. No one wants to talk about that though.

And when he came back after baseball? Does the name "Dennis Rodman" mean anything to you?

I do enjoy the posters who whine and bitch about LeBron joined two "superstars" and then turn around and slam chris bosh for being terrible and wade for being too old.

This year's title run was clearly easy.

"The Heat just aren't very good. They would get smoked if they played the Spurs."

After Miami wins the NBA Title....

"Well, they loaded up on so many superstars that they shouldn't lose one game in the playoffs. LeBron is overrated because he had to join the Avengers to win a ring."
