Saying he is just good but borderline great is even more stupid going in the opposite direction
Guess I should clarify. He's great in contrast to todays' players, I meant all time great.

LBJ is so efficient it's mind blowing. When you can get your 30 in 7-10 less shots than any other player your team is going to really shine. Kobe has proven that he can't get his points AND be a good teammate. LBJ makes it look very easy.

Probably why I usually stay out of NBA threads.

If you don't think he's already an all time great then there's no changing your mind

Huge LBJ fan here but MJ is still the best ever. One thing that gets overlooked about both of these players is their defense. We are talking about maybe the best 2 perimeter defenders of all time.

Dude all the best players of their time eventually went with the bald look. Think of Michael and Kobe, and it seems like that just another thing haters have against Lebron. Who gives a fuq about a persons hair when he is dominating the entire sport. No one could stop him if he was bald or even if he had dreads like Lil Wayne. He's the best end of story.

Tough to compare eras. Lbj is the best athlete the league has ever seen. He cost himself quite a bit by waiting 8 seasons to find himself as a Player. He should have been in the post years ago. Too many jumpers cost him multiple rings early on IMO. Gonna come down to his ability to recreate himself once his speed is gone. I'd say he ends up top 5, with his haters saying he didn't win 5 rings so he's no Kobe or mj. His lovers will disregard and put him tops. I hate that none of his coaches had him on the block earlier. That will prolong his career, ala mj.

Lebron has the clear advantage in assists and rebounding and is a slightly three point shooter and defender. Jordan has the edge in every other category. The WS/48 stat shows that Jordan had a bigger positive impact on the game. Jordan's offensive advantage over Lebron is much larger advantage than Lebron's defensive advantage over him. At the end of the day, that's what ultimately makes Jordan a better player than Lebron.
