A way to avoid more cramps, perhaps?

Its not like he uses his muscle & power all that much. The guy draws contact and flops like 90% of the league. This is probably smart.

Now when he does go up strong it is scary

ETA: and Windhorst should quit reporting on diets and fricking go on one before he drops dead

Can see this being a smart move. They will have actually have some bigs so he won't be playing PF nearly as much. Less weight will help with injury prevention.

I saw it mentioned that he was on the paleo diet right before he signed with the Cavs.

quote:

A spokesperson from LAVO told PBT:

They were joined by a large group of friends from Miami and Cleveland. James and Wade enjoyed items from the LAVO menu such as sea bass, steak and grilled vegetables but stuck to their strict off season paleo diet.

We know: Extremely riveting stuff.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is just temporary. He'll probably put back on his muscle, if not more, when the season rolls around. He's getting older, so the less weight and tension on his joints and whatnot, the better,

I read somewhere this was the main reason. I'm sure it is also to preserve his body better.
