Lamest NFL playoff weekend ever?

Four games, zero drama. 13, 18, 20, & 25 point margins of victory.

Can you remember a lamer NFL playoff weekend?

Unless you were a homer rooting for one of the winners, was there a single reason to watch?

Shitty NFL wildcard games are enough of a reason to oppose postseason expansion.

I'd be okay with it just being division winners and cutting a week out. Don't think anyone would be heartbroken they missed out on those thrillers from this week

I expected the Giants Packers game to be better but when the Giants dominated early and then gave up that Hail Mary that shite was sealed.

The AFC road teams limping in with backup QBs and Seattle at home vs the ice cold Lions ensured those games would be terrible.

Wow another "I don't watch the NFL" thread, yet you watched, just like the rest of America.

I only watched the Packers game..felt rewarded by skipping the others when it was 7-6..then the Hail Mary happened and the Giants got rolled up like some blunts on the south beach boat

Late season injuries to playoff QB's caused this. It sucks, but there's no real way of predicting that.

Just 3 years ago there was a cumulative of 6 points differential between 3 games. The two seasons between then and now have had roughly half of them look close in the box score.

I watched some, but I turned off every single game well before the end.

And FWIW, this is not a "I don't watch the NFL" thread. It's a "I watched the NFL and it sucked" thread.

You gotta admit though, next week should be one of the better divisional rounds we've seen in a while. I would say all 8 teams, sans the Texans, look like contenders.

This. It especially sucks about Carr, who should have never been injured in the first place. Really dumb call by the Raiders OC.

I can't be the only one that was really looking forward to seeing Oakland in the playoffs again and when they lost Carr the team just kind of quit.

Why do you think the NFL started the "every game is a playoff game" ad campaign couple weeks ago. They know how shitty this season has been.

Original thread. Unfortunately, guys like Carr and Tannehill were out, and Stafford has a busted finger. Not much the NFL can do about that.

There wasn't a reason to watch and I only watched the Giants/Packers game to see who Dallas would lose to this weekend. (Plus my SO is a big Aaron Rodgers fan)

They will never go away bc of the success of some of the WC teams. Also, if they stick to division winners, more of the regular season games will become meaningless at the end of the season.
