He is shooting an insane 54% from threes this year with almost all of them very contested and has a career average of 43%. Stephen Curry also has a career average of 43% while Reggie Miller and Ray Allen are both around 40%.

Steve Novak is up there too

But Curry should be, based on percentage and volume

Curry has made 300 more 3's than Kerr already in his short career

Can you post a link that suggests almost all of his threes are contested?

I can't obviously. But from watching most of his highlights he is always running around screens and has guys flying at him. Nobody on the other team wants to see him shoot, much like Curry too.

I did read this a while ago.

"As Zach Lowe pointed out in July, this effect is now measurable, and the numbers back up the notion that Korver receives more defensive attention than almost anybody else in the NBA."

Regular season, maybe. Pressure shots in the playoffs, I'll go with Larry Bird or Reggie Miller.

Curry creates his own shot better than Korver too IMO

both move off the ball well, but Curry gets the nod in this category. Dude just flat out gets open behind the 3.

Yeah I'd argue Curry and Klay Thompson are both better shooters. Curry's pull up game is just unfair.

Up for debate but he is currently having the best shooting season of all time, so that certainly counts for something
