Pick 6 streak will continue. Is there anyway to bet on this?

All my co-workers are fapping. I think he's doing it because he has nothing to lose. If Keenum sucks then he can say I told you so and put Schaub back in. If he's good then he's a hero and the retard Texan fan base won't know the difference.

Looking forward to hearing UH/Texan fan call in during my drive times to speak to how this now makes them a legit super bowl team.....

Good times for sure

LOL. Total PR move. Sad to think the Texans are mailing it in this early.

Keenum runs the Texans offense perfectly. He's outperformed Shaub and Yates in practice but Kubiak couldn't bench Shaub and Yates won a playoff game so it's hard to just cut him.

You talk to too many UH fans. This has never been said, and if it were actually true then I bet he would at the least be 2nd string. One single playoff win from Yates is not enough to grandfather him into the #2 qb slot despite every on field indication that "Keenum is better". So, you heard wrong.

Also, how do you know he runs the offense "perfectly"? He ran a spread air raid attack at UH and he's been on the practice squad for 2 years with the Texans....and hasn't even played in a real NFL game.

All anyone can really base his potential performance on is preseason and he looked good in that scenario. Although he wasn't really playing with starters and not playing against starters. I guess we'll see on Sunday.
I have never liked how Kubiak tries to run the Denver style offense with a QB that has zero mobility. He's not John freaking Elway and that type of offense needs a QB that has SOME sort of mobility. Schaub has none and will fall down like one of those goats if he gets scared.

We shall see.

Disclaimer: I don't really think Case will step right in and be a stud, I was kind of kidding.

However, I would not be too surprised if he did. The kid has a ton of talent. His downfield passing is a little weak, but that can develop with experience. Besides with the Texans offense you don't have to have a Peyton Manning type back their slinging it, just someone who can sell play action and manage a game well.

I'm also not sold on the Chiefs as being all that great yet.

Cheers to Keenumsanity

And its clearly not enough to say he fits "perfect" in the offense. So how about not say anything at all? Or say you are not sure.

Total Offense Rankings During Kubiak era

2006-28th (first season in Houston)
2007-14th
2008-3rd
2009-4th
2010-3rd
2011-13th
2012-7th

Top 10 offense most years. Guess since the Texans have such a RICH HISTORY OF WINNING championships that it's never enough. You talk as if the offense was below par.

I truly think this is a PR move pushed by McNair so the fans can be appeased for a week until Schaub is healthy again.

The diff btw Yates and Keenum is small enough to where Kubiak thinks it will be inconsequential to start keenum AND he has the added bonus that Houston fans in particular have a tie to him. So among on the pissed off fans they have something to hold on to so they'll stay focused on the Texans.

Keenum is going to suck arse and all of the Texans fans calling on him to be the starter are going to feel stupid.

Keenum worth taking a chance on for at least one week just to see what you have in him. Plus with how bad Yates looked last week, this decision is a no brainer to me.

Yeah it may be a little bit of a PR move, but it is the smart choice.

Regardless Texans need to draft a QB to take over for Schaub eventually.

I don't believe I ever said that.

That really doesn't mean shite. Maybe we can start playing for the Stat Championship and that will be awesome.

Are you saying there is nothing wrong and we should just proceed as usual?

I can see this as a good possibility.
