Kraft & Goodell have a reported falling out

Goodell has lost his most important ally.
Here is a rundown Kraft's recent actions:
Prior to one of coach Bill Belichick's Super Bowl press conferences, Kraft made a surprise appearance and demanded an apology from the NFL if they are unable to prove that the Patriots intentionally deflated the footballs, noting that he is " disappointed in the way this entire matter has [been] handled."
Kraft was a no-show to Goodell's pre-Super Bowl state-of-the-league address, a move considered unusual for an owner of one of the team's in the Super Bowl, especially one so close to the commissioner (the team told the Boston Globe that he had a prior commitment).
After being handed the Lombardi Trophy following the Super Bowl, Kraft did not acknowledge the commissioner at all, something that raised the eyebrows of many.
Mike Reiss, who covers the Patriots for ESPN.com and whom Peter King of SI.com calls "well-plugged-in," recently wrote that it appears that the relationship between Goodell and Kraft "is not in a good place" and the biggest issue is the leaks that came from Goodell's office.
"My sense is that Kraft feels stung by Goodell, who he had backed in the wake of the mishandled Ray Rice domestic violence case," Reiss wrote for ESPN.com. "The longstanding relationship between the two is not in a good place based on the league’s handling of the team’s under-inflated footballs and specifically public leaks. For perhaps the first time, I sense Kraft is doubting Goodell’s leadership, and if Goodell loses one of his top supporters I wonder how much it could threaten his hold on the job."
Job no longer secure

Goodell is going to have a terrible lagacy.

oh, so an owner who isn't tom benson has his property damaged by goodell's incompetence?

So basically Kraft has Goodell's back when Goodell is investigating other teams, but when he looks at the Pats Kraft gets all pissy

It's all for show.
Kraft & Goodell are still besties.

If true, this is huge.
Kraft is the one who essentially led the charge for Goodell's candidacy, and he's arguably been Goodell's biggest supporter the last few years.

Seems like they had a scratch my back I'll scratch yours arrangement. If all bets are off it could get interesting.

Agreed, this is like when U.S. acts like it is mad at Israel for something.

I hope this is true, but am duobtful.
If true, what a POS Kraft is, but at least it may lead to Goodell being gone.

Goodell and Kraft can both go take a flying leap.

Doesn't Goodell have like a ten year contract or something?
But sure, this could really come back to bite him in the arse in 2023 or something.

More like:
Kraft:I hate you!
Goodell: No I hate you more
Kraft: Nope, I hate you times infinity
Goodell: Man, media and people are suckers. Dinner tomorrow?
Kraft: Stupid morons. How does Abe and Louie's sound? See you 7:30.

Pretty much.
In the league's inner circles they call Kraft the "assistant commisioner."
Not to worry, this will all be swept under the rug. Goodell's grandstanding was all for show. People will forget about Deflategate in a few weeks, and the Pats will continue to cheat unfettered by the league.

His contract expires in 2018, but the commitee that gave him the contract consisted of-
Robert Kraft, Tom Benson, Arthur Blank, Pat Bolden, Jerry Richardson. Tom Benson resigned from the commitee in protest and Bolden resigned due to health.

If I was Kraft I'd be upset too. All those leaks, That have been shown to be in error had to come from somewhere.

Talk about a non-issue of under-inflated football's for the entire 2 weeks prior to the Super Bowl, I'd be pissed too

Well Goodell couldn't control whether it got out or not. I'm sure he wishes it hadn't leaked. Once it did he had to pay some lip service to due process. It'll be swept under the rug.
