Stockton is better at assisting and wearing shorter shorts. Just about everything else basketball related, Ill take Kobe.

Kobe by Miles. Stockton just pick and rolled his assist numbers really high, that's it.

*greatest PG of all time named John Stockton

And to answer the OP's question:

1. Kobe
2. Stockton
3. MJ

Last I checked, Magic Johnson and Chris Paul were point guards.

Last I checked, Stockton still had more than 8,000 assists and 1,400 steals than Paul... and Paul doesn't have a chance in hell of coming close to either number.

Magic's shortened career (and unique abilities) place him in a league of his own. But Stockton still gets terribly underrated because of his height and skin color. There's a reason why players like Gary Payton respect him so much.

Kobe had more total points, total rebounds and total assists than Jordan.

Kobe > Jordan

Stockton's ast:to ratio is nuts for how much he handles the ball. He's also a damn good defender and could actually shoot.

Vastly underrated
