Never was a big Kobe fan, but watching that live was more than enjoyable. It's why sports are the best reality show possible.

For those last 3 minutes, he turned back the clock, and again he was the greatest player on the planet.

What are you confused about? In his prime he was the best player in the league.

There's no argument that at one point he was the best in the world. You're just a hater if you don't think so.

One of the shortest reigns of best player on the planet in league history.

Helps when the refs swallow their whistles and the NBA gives him a pass

Lebron's reign was what? 18 months? That's probably the shortest I can think of.

Or just a bit longer with those 4 MVPs in five seasons.

Don't fight stupid with stupid.

And what the hell is Russell doing when they call that timeout??? Seriously man, stop jumping on the guy who is having an amazing moment while being so tired he can barely stand. What kind of 4 year old shite is that?

Well, he was the only shooter for the night on a 17 win team. I'm sure it was fun for Lakers fans though.

Is it a coincidence that the only white dude on the court was guarding him?

That's my first time seeing that. Pretty incredible. I was under the assumption that Utah slacked off on defense. Not really so.

It is truly a shame the Lakers were not playing Houston. Kobe would have had 120 points on James Harden.
