Kinsler placed on DL

According to a report out of Dallas, Ian Kinsler has been placed on the 15 day DL.
The Rangers are going to purchase the contract of 1B/OF/DH Mitch Moreland (former Miss State player) in order to get him on the 40 man roster so they can call him up.
Let's see what Moreland does. Hope he is better than Chris Davis.
In any event, this is an interesting development.
I would assume that Andres Blanco will now be the man at 2B.

What about Joaquin Arias? Wasn't he the "shortstop of the future" until Andrus emerged? Why can't JA play 2nd?

He could, but Blanco's glove is far more steady and the bat he brings is only slightly better than that of Blanco.

Blanco frustrates the hell out of me, and I always enjoyed Arias so I'm hoping that they play the same amount while Kinsler is on the dl.
Anybody is better than Davis at this point.

17th round pick in 07, this is his first full year in triple A. Batting 289 with 12 homers and 65 rbi's.
